Tax Or Treat?

I cannot take any more anxiety attacks and so this weekend I am doing my tax. I have put it off long enough. I have waited for those rainy weekends, got there, then got cosy with TV and chocolate.

That's it no more. I am staying in all weekend. I'm not going out Friday or Saturday night in case they lead to the slightest excuse. This is IT.

And I think it will help if I treat myself to something on completion. A carrot to dangle in front of me. Even though I don't want, need anything - my whole life is a treat - I can come up with something.

Viktor and Rolf's Flower Bomb?
Chanel's latest mascara and eyeshadow quad?
A pair of patent Louboutins?

Suggestions and votes welcome.

Definitely Flowerbomb! I am addicted to that scent.

Do you own any Louboutins? I quiver when I think of his black patent T-bars...

Did you ever get the Moleskine city notebook?

I love treating myself :) And I prefer to stick to the mantra "Quality not quantity", so buy those Louboutins girl!

I did my tax last week and found out this morning I have to pay FOUR times more than I did last year. Which apparently means I earned more, though I can't see it...UGH - got to be done, and get the shoes! Wouldn't you rather have them than give that money to the tax man?!

did you read my blog? I spent ALL last weekend sorting through tax receipts but I'm still a BAS behind (haven't done the apr-jun one and bloody september is coming up), still have to fudge up the car log, get interest expense statements from the bank and then haul the whole bloody lot off to the accountant.

arghhh!

How about the new Miller Harris scent, L'Air de Rien, inspired by Jane Birkin?

Embrouillamini: yay for Flowerbomb! It's so more-ish, isn't it? And Megan, I am dying to get my mits on L'air de rien, but I can't imagine it'd be out here, at least not for a while. Any reviews of it? I love these personal fragrances, and I'm sure this will be very unique. Oh, Jane B!

Lola, I hadn't even thought about that kind of scenario. Now I'm really scared.

Jules, I had an EB facial just recently, and considering how my back and shoulder are killing me today, a massage sounds brilliant. Just want something more long-lasting - as long-lasting as the pain of doing tax is!

Sorry didn't mean to freak you out about the tax! I was freaking out a bit myself at the time...

I'm going to see if I can pick up the Birkin scent at Saks in San Francisco this week.

LuckyScent said they will have it in the spring (your autumn).
