And also playing around with Picasa, since they say it's like iPhoto for Windows? I want a new camera and I want to photograph again, and edit, and share, and smile at beautiful things.

I've used , picassa and zooomr and they all have good and bad points. One problem with flickr now is that it is tied to yahoo, so you need a yahoo login for it.
re: flickr - still abstaining but will give way soon...
