This is a tough one!
If you wish him a happy birthday you may need to come clean about your Goggle habit. Unless you convince him that he told you.
What I would do? Probably not say anything. But then again look at my relationship track record, ie don't take my advice.

No idea who this mystery person is, butif you want to clue them in that you're interested, bring up the birthday...
ah, I know the feeling. I have no answer, you may have to get sneaky in a "I just have this feeling you're a Leo" or something way. Cheesy but might work...
